With two core pillars—”Supporting those who take on challenges, both children and adults!” and “Through artist residencies and various creative initiatives, we are cultivating a vibrant cultural hub on the island!”—we formed Teshima Grow together with our fellow parents.

Together with our team, we breathe new life into forgotten spaces through DIY. Abandoned places are transformed once again into warm, welcoming environments filled with human presence.
With our hands on the worn-out floor, we restore it—turning it once again into a place where people gather.
We set water and wind flowing once more, restoring the building’s natural rhythm.

Community-Built Festival
A festival built around the theme of “spinning”—where local traditions, daily life, and each participant’s unique expression spin together and intertwine. We set out to create a festival purely for ourselves, by ourselves—one that is deeply, unapologetically fun.
Children’s faces light up with joy as they ride the merry-go-round, fully embracing each fleeting moment.
This event is all about “spinning”—connecting people, islands, and ideas in motion. By simply sharing the same time and space, hearts align across generations, creating an experience as exhilarating as a ride on a carousel.
For two days, we come together in a celebration of movement and connection. And may this feeling continue to turn in the hearts of everyone who takes part, long after the festival ends.
