We have a place where you can express yourself!
Looking for Artists, performers, workshops, teachers, dancers and volunteers! Pop up shops are also welcome!
Allow us to tell you our story:
Teshima usaginingen Theater is located in special surroundings. There is an old temple, spring water, and a shrine, a wonderful view of spreading rice fields and calm setouchi sea.
We named this theater and its surroundings area Theater Park （http://usaginingen.com/theater-park/) . And we really want people to enjoy this Theater Park.
So how can we achieve that? Our idea is this:
This place can be a special hub for people to meet. We love to invite people like artists, performers, workshops, teachers, dancers well anyone if they have something they like to express and share with others who happen to be here.
It is a free space for you to use, another word, we would not pay neither. But we love to make a place where any unique idea can be expressed. We can help support for a place to stay and vegetables in Teshima if necessary.
This project is inspired by the experience we had in Germany called fusion festival（ http://blog.usaginingen.com/fusion-festival-2014/）. It was extremely heartwarming and amazing atmosphere there. This is not obviously as big as this, but we believe the hope is the same, make the world smile and feel the love and freedom.
Setouchi art triennale（https://setouchi-artfest.jp/en/）is back again 2019. This one of the biggest art festival in Japan, expecting huge number of visitors. However, people tend to rush and hop around the museums and art spots. We would like to provide a place where people can stop and step back, have a rest and feel love by connecting.
Please contact us if you have any ideas or questions. I would appreciate it if you could pass this on to someone who may be interested in it.
